We just experienced our first earthquake a couple of hours ago while eating lunch in Amed, Indonesia. It only lasted a few seconds but was definitely a bit scary. We went diving in the morning and I wonder what it would have felt like underwater.
More than likely we’re going to change our plans for next week since we were supposed to go to the Gili Islands, which was hit pretty hard by the last earthquake. You probably saw all the pictures of the tourists crowded on the beach waiting to be evacuated.
Hoping that’s the last of it so the people affected don’t have to endure anymore than they already have.
