Our last stop when visiting UNESCO’s Complex of Hue Monuments was the Imperial City. It is enclosed by a square fortress, comprised of a thick wall with gates and a moat. It’s where the emperors lived and conducted all of their business. We didn’t do a very good job planning our route around the huge complex and probably missed a lot of the highlights, but it was still a nice way to finish our highlights of the city tour.
