Most of Ko Phi Phi’s activities are on or under the water, but it also has one of the most spectacular viewpoints we’ve ever seen. There are actually three viewpoints. It was about a thirty-minute walk from town to the second viewpoint, with the hardest part being at the beginning with a steep flight of stairs. After the stairs, you’re rewarded with the first viewpoint, but don’t stop there. At the second viewpoint, there’s plenty of room to take in the view, at least when we were there, and there’s even a nice restaurant, which we ate at to wait for the rain to subside. When we reached the second viewpoint we assumed it was the last one, but there’s definitely a third (though some websites call the second viewpoint the third one, so it’s a bit confusing). The third viewpoint seems to offer similar views as the second, but we’re still bummed that we missed it.
