After the Grand Palace and Wat Pho, we wanted to see Wat Arun. But, we didn’t actually make it to the temple since it was closing, so we decided to go to Amorosa Bar across the Chao Phraya River to watch the sunset. Be sure to get to the bar early to snag a good table. During the day, Wat Arun looks great sitting on the river bank, but once night falls, the lights come on and it looks even more amazing. It was so beautiful to see the changing colors of the temple – from white to pink to gold – with the changing colors of the sky!
We ended up going back to Bangkok for New Year’s Eve and were able to make it inside Wat Arun, so stay tuned for more photos.
