Another Day, Another Earthquake

Starting to lose track of all the earthquakes we’ve been having in Indonesia. The other day, Therese and I got into an argument when I felt our second earthquake here in Bali, this time in Ubud. She didn’t feel it and didn’t believe me, so I downloaded an app to prove it.

We don’t feel all of them since we’re probably a couple of hundred kilometers away from the epicenters and so they aren’t as intense as the app lists them as. Thankfully we haven’t had any damage at all. But the one we just had was definitely the longest and strongest we’ve experienced. It had to have lasted at least thirty seconds and had two aftershocks soon after. This one could be just as bad as the one that happened two weeks ago, the day before we got to Bali, which killed over 460 people. I’m dreading what the news will say tomorrow morning.
